* More about Angela Sokolova:
Angela Sokolova is a Qi-Gong instructor certified through New England School of Tai-Chi, Breathwork Practitioner, and Holistic Health Counselor and Practitioner specializing in alternative psychology certified through the American Institute of Holistic Health and Wellness.
Currently she is studying and practicing Medical Qi-Gong that was introduced to her by Dr. Aihan Kuhn at the Chinese Medicine for Health clinic which has now moved to Florida.
Angela’s background is computer science, art and dance. She was a successful computer engineer in Ukraine, her home country. After moving to the US in 1996 her life has totally changed. Her desperate search for alternative healing for her children’s inborn issues and for her own boost of health brought her to holistic practices. She started her teaching career as a Power Brain Yoga instructor for young children and teens in 2004, and has taught at schools and yoga centers for 5 years. Inspired by the results of that holistic brain and body fitness program on her children and herself, Angela went further into studying Eastern and Western approaches to healing.
She has been studying and practicing Qi-Gong since 2002 with different Qi-Gong masters and teachers and believes in this practice full-heartedly because it has made a great impact on her health, lifestyle, perceptions of the world, and her attitude toward self and others.
In 2009 her career as a Qi-Gong instructor, a healer and a Holistic Lifestyle counselor began to evolve.
She runs a Holistic Lifestyle Women’s Club which is a meetup group that unites and supports women in the period of change and transformation, and she is an organizer for an annual Qi-Gong for Peace event.
