this workshop is for you!!!
In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of yoga, including meditation, mindful breathing and basic yoga poses…without having to get down on the floor. Chair yoga is a unique style of yoga that adapts traditional yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair. We will incorporate a mix of seated poses and standing poses, while using the chair for support.
Chair yoga is suitable for all fitness levels and physical conditions. You will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and with the tools you need to practice at home or in the office.

* Seniors
* Larger bodies
* Stiff bodies
* Anyone looking for a kinder, gentler, non-judgmental yoga practice
* Anyone who wants to learn to do yoga while seated in a chair (frequent flyers, office workers, etc.)
* Anyone with a “bad back”, “bad knees”, tight hips, etc.
* Anyone with physical limitations who would like to learn to adapt yoga poses to meet their needs.
(Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. We have extras if you need to borrow one.)
